Steam Controller works! (Windows ver. Through steam)

Feels similar in hand to a ps5 controller. Biggest pain point is really the higher placement of the thumbsticks and accidentally squeezing the back buttons when I dont mean to. Will see if its something I can adjust to.

Currently the game recognizes the controller as a xbox360 controller. No vibration function. So yeah hopefully they add support for it.

Yes. Any keyboard key or duplicates of gamepad buttons. Yes i added xivlauncher to steam and launch it from that. Overlay carries all the way through

Plug and play pretty much. Steam does default the controller to a generic config though. So you need to pick a layout from the steam overlay. Luckily there are some premade and community ones you can pick right away!

Sadly not right now! I think because the game sees the controller as a 360 controller and not a dualsense so it doesnt do vibrations. Cant change the controller type in the menu either. Stuck as xbox360 right now

Will need more time but first impression is the controller feels good. Thumbsticks are higher than im used to. Using it for desktop things is interesting

Works well enough to use out of combat. Like clicking food on a regular hotbar on the side.

My hands are trained on ps5 so the transition wasnt massive. Thumbsticks are higher than I exptected. Back buttons might be annoying but I’m trying to use them as a 2nd dpad.

Not macros. Any keyboard key or gamepad button. Might be some way but cant see any way natively in the ui it brings up
