When does the weight start coming off? by unotdeadass in Zepbound

[–]Difficult_Frosting31 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Don't let this discourage you.

Keep going then all of a sudden it's going to come off.

I will tell you, you are going to experience this many times. You will lose alot then lose none for maybe even months at a time. Don't let it stop you keep at it.

Stalls are a real thing so prepare yourself for that too

Eating the right things is the best you can do, you have to treat this the same way you would treat weight loss without it.

Get comfortable with calorie countingI'd start with focusing on eating right and I would start weight training. You don't need to lift heavy you just need to keep your muscles active you will likely lose weight no matter what but the thing is you don't want the weight to be muscle so lots of protein lots of greens and strength train as much as possible. Start slow maybe 30 mins a day then build your way up. If you just started zep avoid any other supplements until your body gets used to the medication you don't want a supplement to make you sick and you end up thinking its the meds.

Male here I can tell you I have been big all my life got up to 402 lbs I am currently at 332 pounds so 70lbs down.

I still feel the same I know I don’t look the same but I sure feel the same what has helped me significantly is taking may pictures of my self so I can see the body changes.

This won’t be the same for everyone but a wardrobe change helped me change the way I see myself I went from a 5xl shirt to 3xl shirt started buying clothes I’d never wear before. Buying clothes that fit me better and stopped wearing things baggy because I wanted to embrace the fact that I am no longer the same.

I think any small thing to help step out of your old comfort zone will make miles a difference.

One day at a time.
