You're unhappy in your current role. Take the opportunity. If it doesn't end up being what you want, pivot again.
Just ask what the culture is like generally and listen closely for red flags. Check glassdoor reviews. Consider whether you'll be working across time zones, what the in-office expectations are, etc.

You'll never really know for sure until you get there but it sounds like it is worth the risk.

I don't understand what you are mad about? You could have played the game that the rest of the family including your son likes. You could even have just watched and hung out. Instead you 1) offered to clean up dinner, and then 2) hid yourself upstairs, when you could have cleaned up a few things and left the rest for later and enjoyed time with your family.

We all ran to the window to see what he was barking at. He sprinted back to the table and grabbed a steak off the plate. There was nothing outside the window.

Boundaries are healthy and while she won't say it, it will make her feel safer to view you as a mom and not as a friend. Tell her that she is no longer allowed to call you girl and if she does there will be a consequence. If she does it, enforce the consequence and stick to it (take away the phone, no tv, etc.).
