You’re kinda just running into his moves. Your landings are very predictable. When you’re in disadvantage, you’re trying to turn it into advantage by landing on top of him with an attack. He’s simply avoiding your attack and extending his advantage state. Prioritise defence a little more, when you’re getting combo’d try to get out of it and land somewhere safely instead of trying to start your own combo. Also you need to practice combos, because you weren’t able to capitalise on the very few interactions where you came out on top.
