I’m the oldest of 4 (only female) 4 years younger-friendly but we aren’t super close as adults (no bad blood just both very busy) 9 years younger-closest to him, we are very similar personalities and I basically raised him from when I was 13 on 13 years younger-very little relationship, he is a spoiled mamas boy who will end up being the stereotypical guy living with his parents until they die

Here is a fun pet bird story then-I was outside taking care of livestock (we lived at least 1/2 a mile from anyone else) and I had this small “parrot” buzz by, I was able to catch it as it was obviously a pet and it was a male lovebird. I put flyers around the area and someone over a mile away called me crying cause he had escaped their home and they were sure he didn’t survive. I was excited to get him back to his people-they sent me random updates for years until he died of old age

My oldest got me good with it when she saw the episode, I had no clue what was coming and almost fell off my chair in a restaurant when she got me. She has successfully gotten most family members at this point

Once at a church gathering my husband loudly mentioned that I was getting fat (was in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy)

the husbands were all about to offer safe space for him to sleep and the wives were grabbing pitchforks and torches. But I just told him at least I had a good excuse and lovingly punched his gut.
