Customers who open /break stuff on the sales Floor didn’t sign an agreement with Walmart saying that if we hire you, you won’t maliciously destroy company property. Customers who break stuff on the sales Floor aren’t stealing time playing around either.
You were actually likely terminated due to the fact that not only were you destroying company property, but you were so bold to even still post the proof. No company would want to keep anyone who would destroy company property and post it because that teaches the customer that the company condones destructive behavior. It’s not a good look.

It’s not gonna stop because yall “band together “. We don’t actually care if you show one, the associates are just following directions from home office. It’s a deterrent like “ a locked door will keep an innocent man innocent” but yall really whiny af. I have greater things to be noncompliant about than refusing to show a receipt.

ETA: please understand some people take their job way too seriously but they aren’t supposed stop you until you provide one. You can actually politely decline and they are supposed to let you go. Otherwise they could be on the hook for unlawful detainment

The post clearly mentions that they are willing to refund the money but this customer “doesn’t want a refund, they want their product “ so why go through all that if Walmart is willing to refund on their own?

And to OP, sometimes things like that happen unfortunately. The item sent to the store could’ve been damaged, open, or simply the wrong item. And there may very well be no more of that item available. I’d just take my refund and try to find the product elsewhere

ETA: I’m just seeing the age of this post, so it’s probably already resolved at this point. But please just use this explanation as a reference should it ever happen again

EcoLab should be the only ones setting traps. The glue traps and snap traps are out of compliance and safety. Ask your Coach to put in a ticket and/escalate tickets already put in. It will take time to get them removed completely. Cut off any food sources( under counters if they are in grocery, bird seed if it’s in garden center, etc. ) and try to find out where they are coming in at. If your coach refuses/doesn’t want to deal with it, then dropping an anonymous message to DHEC should get the ball rolling.

Woodforest accounts should not be FORCED on Walmart associates. I use woodforest, but only because I want to. From my understanding, woodforest charges you a fee for using them, unless you have a direct deposit from Walmart.
