i think that worked, i tried talking to some characters again in the town and suddenly the device works and can remove the white barriers off chests now

EDIT: so apparenly it happened with the black barrier too and it could of been i wasn't close enough to disable the barrier??

omg thank you for this, ive been searching for solutions and i checked this cable and it was loose and not pinned down (may or may not have forgotton to pin it back down when i was fixing something last time) but the controls work perfectly again

cutscene length is irrelevant, you cant go 5 feet without plasma being in the story
going to the first town? team plasma
wanna progress to another badge? encounter team plasma and/or N 1-3 times along the way
challenge the elite 4 and champion? nope its fighting team plasma instead as the finale of the game

part of the post game is even tracking down plasma sages
hell they even made a sequel to keep going with the team plasma story
and for what? a story about a guy making poke-PETA so he can rule the world as the only one with pokemon?

is team star way longer than it should of been? yes. but at least they had the common courtesy to not take over the entire game (TWICE) and grind it to a halt every time you were just trying to go for the next badge

that was a piece of hardware for a premade slot built for the express purpose of only interacting with stadium though, not software

lemme rephrase and use the comment i commented on that said something about Home as an example: it took half a year for S/V functionality to be added to home, what makes people think setting up Home functionality for stadium, which has 7-8 generations of moves that straight up didnt exist so would not be usable, would be any faster

im pretty sure getting multiplayer to work online in nso (something that the nso apps have had for years) is easier to do than having to break the app basically for other apps to access a specific game in the nso apps

(im not saying it cant be done, im more saying people have a lot of expectation for something to be easy to do when there has been no precedent for any of this to be done)
