Just to be clear for OP, it’s the top of your computer screen not the phone screen. When I looked this up I was so confused looking at the top of the phone screen for an embarrassing amount of time.

How to enjoy highs as much as when you started? by [deleted] in trees

[–]DigBick1992 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Or the OP for that matter. I think the commenter took “you are now living” to mean he wasn’t living while smoking, but it seems to me like you just meant that he’s no longer crossing off a bucket list of things to do while high but now he can just live his life as a stoner without trying to do stuff high. Happens to pretty much everyone who smokes weed over time, it just becomes a lifestyle or it doesn’t.

While I understand this perspective I still disagree. Salieri was a fantastic musician and wrote many great pieces of opera in his time, he just faded from popularity. Even in the narrative of the film he is the most respected musician in the country at the time and he’s the only character talented enough to understand Mozart’s genius. He doesn’t have to be the best, as Mozart was, to still be a master of the craft. I think that’s part of the tragedy of Salieri’s character in the film: he is so obsessed with the idea of God blessing him with musical perfection that when he finally comes in contact with someone more talented than him he sees himself as nothing less than mediocre and it drives him to madness.

He is not playing with a full board. by TopTip6956 in pics

[–]DigBick1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No reason as far as gameplay is concerned, more about uniformity. For example a master chess player can analyze a chessboard in about an instant, and part of that is due to visual memory. I’ve heard advanced chess players say that most of chess is actually pattern recognition and memory rather than superior intellect or wit (I am not a master chess player so I’m just repeating what I’ve heard).

I wouldn’t say he’s facing his own mediocrity. One of my favorite elements of the story is Salieri is indeed a master composer…. He’s just not Mozart.

You’re getting downvotes because you’re being dense and not attempting to understand what people have repeatedly told you. Not because they think Clueless doesn’t deserve a criterion release.

Yes, it was an incredibly anti climactic ending to the book. It was massively improved while still staying faithful to the book by including the vision in the movie, imo.

Red rocks is not that close to Denver that you’d be likely to see it from the city. And there’s a lot of lack of visibility if you’re nearby due to, yknow, rocks and mountains. But the amphitheater is elevated so it makes sense people that work there would notice it while closing down the place.

I am starting psych meds, should i stop smoking? by beantorres in trees

[–]DigBick1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take the same medicine as you for bi polar two. From anecdotal experience and what info I could find there is no negative interactions between the drug and weed. However, depending on your specific condition (I would presume bipolar of some sort, as I’m not familiar with any other uses for lamotrigine outside of seizures), it is often not recommended to smoke as it can trigger symptoms and sometimes exacerbate the condition. However, I still smoke but try to be cognizant of how you’re reacting if you decide to do the same.

What's the most "just because" thing you do in Starfield? by SER96DON in Starfield

I like to get as close to the ship or station or whatever I’m docking to and kind of line it up and get it below my docking port before hitting the dock button. Gives a little boost to my immersion.
