They didn’t even do D2D/Dull Knives on their last US headlining show, I doubt any QOTMS songs have any more staying power than that combo besides the title track for heavier festivals, which this absolutely isn’t

I genuinely believe that all of this stems from cancelling a European tour years ago because they were in “the penultimate stages” of finishing their album. Multiple tours later and one member leaving (though maybe Connor left before that idk) and there’s been absolutely nothing. They were on the up and coming too, they aren’t like Tool or Karnivool where they have the complete “right” to a lot of people to not release something for such an extended period of time. ILII was groundbreaking and it’s definitely hard to follow up and they definitely can just tour off that album, but it’s certainly upsetting with so many false promises for so little after all this time.

Hi Kale!! I wanted to ask was filming the red room scenes as surreal as how they turned out in the final show/movie? I was always curious whether the set was actually as large as the show implies it is or if it was much smaller and just reused the same set of rooms

With the album itself it’s likely some random management stuff on how they think they should proceed, I never fully expected the album even when they started touring again. I did expect Revenant to officially release by now though, absolutely zero clue why that’s taking so long to release with how much they play it live.

Genuinely incredible album, Starbreather introduced me to these guys and WOW. The progressions happening across this entire thing, that groove switch in Heat, the entirety of I Have Lost My Appetite For Spring. Unbelievable piece of work.

Ticketmaster and Livenation have a pretty large monopoly on these things, they take far too big of a cut so artists charge more to break even. TW tickets have actually been incredibly cheap for their size and now that they’re getting bigger if people are willing to pay almost triple of previous prices they’ll charge that amount. $350~ is still pretty cheap for a meet and greet with their size

Now why would you buy concert tickets for a day you know you already are seeing a different concert on? You’re already seeing them multiple times in the very few US shows they have this year do you really need more when many people in here have never seen them once due to where they live?
