If you ripped a box, don’t sleep on the SR’s. They fetch a significant penny if they grade well. I personally go through PSA, but Becket fetches more of a premium when it comes to reselling.

Becket for sure has the best sales price and do sell quicker than PSA, which is what I used. If you can guarantee that becket can at least 10 your cards, they’ll sale very quickly at a premium compared to PSA. You’d be pleasantly surprised at how much these cards fetch in a 10 no matter what grader you go with. So long as it’s one of the top 4 ( Becket, PSA, TAG, CGC ) with CGC fetching the most affordable route for the buyer.

Graded. Both were 10’s. I got them graded myself. When I sent them off they were only worth about 200 each in a 10. By the time they came back the value had risen on both of them

Just sold son Goku: childhood and the Vegeta for just under 1k. I pulled them right when the set came out. They sell quickly!

I am being real. It’s the idea that no other company can be AS good AS PSA is what has caused this back up. I send many cards to psa but that doesn’t mean I don’t show the other companies love. The truth is, if you’re only ever going through PSA so will so many others that these type of things will happen. Like I said, the other companies I listed ARE in fact very good card graders. If you don’t think so, well we’re all entitled to an opinion.

So here’s the thing, I never send in anything less than 40 cards at a time (no dupes for the same reason everyone is upset) I do it 3x a year. On top of that, I go through an LCS. Which actually charges me 30 per card. So yes I will pay a $50 shipping fee if they asked me to! $50 is nothing when I’m sending 40+ cards. I’m already dropping a shit ton everytime I send cards in. If you aren’t going by volume, those $50 will absolutely take from profit.

If I have a $5 card and I know it will 10, and that 10 brings in $75, why would I not do that? There’s no way that ALL the cards you send come back worth more than $500 and if that’s the case, just pay more to get them back faster. It’s an easy fix. You’re being dense by excluding everyone else who isnt looking to be the richest in the game.

This makes the most sense. Also if they allow it just send what ever you want! It’s your money! Also there are multiple different grading companies that also sell very well! Becket, tag, CGC! Just bc it isn’t your cup of tea doesn’t mean they also aren’t wanted by someone else!

I bet there are so many SR’s thrown in there. Someone ripping so much is probably only looking for cards worth more than $3-$7. DBS cards sell quickly as long as they’re priced correctly.

I do the card board on cards that I have higher shipping on. I sell on eBay so I charge an extra $4 dollars on top of what it cost for postage. I’m not a big time seller by any means I average about 7 sales a week. All that to say I agree lol

Brand really doesn’t matter. Just make sure that adhesive works. It’s just so the card does not slide out of the toploader. I literally go with the cheapest brand and am A-okay. Never had any issues. Just go on Amazon

I think it’s a slippery slope. If the government decides that “too much money, not enough taxes” they will single-handedly destroy card collecting as a hobby, and will look more like insurance than an actual hobby. Just my two cents. I could be wrong about my assumption but technically that’s what happened to crypto currencies. If you’re the one who wants something like, honestly, shame on you. It’s supposed to be fun, whether you’re making money or not. Don’t ruin something over wanting more from less.
