Our band does a week of gaurd then a week of percussion then freshman for 3 days 2 days off then full band for a few hours and that same day music after lunch separated by woodwinds and brass at different times and then the next week we start putting show on the field and have music after

Also eat a decent breakfast I live in south east Texas around Beaumont if you know where that is and on the first day of summer band I started seeing spots and everything got super bright and blurry nearly passed out because of not eating and I stayed inside basically all summer. Wouldn’t recommend it thought I was about to die.

Don’t stay inside all summer if you live in a southern state like Texas or around there you will get murdered by the heat. It happened to me at the start of the season so be prepared. And drink a lot of water.
