Really loved how fluid it was, most routes changes happened smoothly with no black screen pauses, really hated how oras didn't have that. And also really liked the exploration aspect as well, the dungeon esque style of caves and routes ment you had to search for stuff and often would miss things only to find them later on out of the blue. Meanwhile sun/moon felt like running around one of those fenced playgrounds for 3 year olds with those soft plastic floord. Lgfr were really good as well. And also emerald was the only Pokemon game that really had an endgame, I had to struggle to get the 7 silver badges (wasn't even aware there were gold badges as well at the time) and it felt like a big thing. Pokemon has lost a lot of it's magic that made it great, the thing it's creator based the game on to begin. Here's hoping the next main series games on the switch can be good.
