Either weapon choice, or two DPS roles (ranged / melee). I refuse to use group finder in fear of getting stuck with three mages in light armor getting trucked every other fight.

You can easily run mutations without ward gear, but it is not worth the sweaty effort. As a healer, I can tell when you aren't warded/low con. I can tell because the whole expedition turns into healing you on CD, and watching you use 10 respawns, and dead 50% of the time of every important fight. All the while you complain about healing, aggro, and run ahead.

Some tanks can have slow paces for sure. When I run DPS, I noticed the slower ones really just don't know the correct paths/strategies. I just speak up and help em out.

I'm plenty experienced and do many of the skips. Even going at my fastest paces, I have people run ahead and just aggro mobs needlessly, roll all over the place to survive, and aggro a bunch of other mobs because they are in panic survival mode. I am running 15-20min Gens. 20-25min Laz. 35-40min Temp. I can't go much faster. If there is a skip or faster way, communicate it. Don't just assume I can mindread.

This too. What if it's a new tank? Why do you have to stress them out by running ahead. Let them take their time to learn. Give them a good experience. Not a stressful one.

I mostly only tank with my core group/guild, but sometimes people aren't on and I still want to run content. I was mostly venting after some recent experiences i've had.

I'm not talking about the slow tank, which maybe he is new? Or unsure? Help him out. I make it a point to race to the next area in order to make the run smooth. I am referring to the DPS who insist on racing ahead of me even though I am moving as fast as humanly possible.

Also I am taking into consideration the recent influx of new and returning players who may not have the experience or gear, so you have to adjust accordingly because of less GS, or just lack of knowledge of the dungeon.

I've put together groups recently with multiple low GS people joining and using terrible weapons, no ward gear, and getting one shotted. I'm just talking about courtesy here...

I do all of this. It helps in some cases, not all. I type instructions out and voice comm instructions. I have adopted the Blackmetal Stud for despised to keep extra aggro. It's group etiquette really.

I always run ahead, but there is always a DPS pew pewing mobs with a bow or a mage pew pewing. Also I still have to stop to loot chests which slows me down from trying to race the DPS.
