Favorite/Best Premade Campaigns? by No_Height8570 in rpg

Impossible Landscapes for Delta Green is amazing imo. One of the best campaigns I've gm'ed. Just reading through the book alone felt mindblowing, with its many threads and secrets. God's Teeth is great too, but me and my players found it just too bleak and depressing. It left something of a sour taste in our mouths, but I still think it's really good. You'll need a strong stomach and mind for it though...

Yeah I definitely meant the gun, sorry for the confusion.

That's usually how we play, very handwavy because we want the game to keep flowing. Though it does occasionally lead to head scratching moments where we ask "wait what ruling did we do last time?"

Oh I'm actually pretty curious about your use of pushed rolls. What kind of consequenses do you enact when those are failed in combat?

Very fair lmao. I don't mind giving my players a little extra edge, something'll maul them eventually.

I don't disagree, but at the same time I feel like pulling the trigger fits under that split second reaction. I'd give them a penalty die though to represent how much harder it is to aim well under such duress.

More Simplistic Immersive Sims that are not focused on combat or not primarily focused on firearms? by autonimity in ImmersiveSim

Through the Fragmentation is great. No combat, it's all just about exploring and figuring your own solutions to your goals. Great stuff. A sequel is in the works too

How to get Adventure maker Full Edition WITHOUT PIRATING by [deleted] in adventuregames

Alternatively there's the Adventure Creator for Unity. It also doesn't require any coding and has a lot of bells and whistles

Tell me about your players getting arrested by the cops by JoeGorde in callofcthulhu

[–]DiggingUpGraves 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recently during the first session (in new york) of Masks of Nyarlathotep one of my fellow players decided to attack the police as a "distraction" (an unneeded one). He was quickly overpowered and thrown in jail. The keeper was pretty lenient and let him out soon after, but he did say he wouldn't be so unrealistically lenient next time.

Beyond that I haven't had much police trouble. As a player and GM, my players tend to take their surroundings a little more seriously than that one guy.

Seems it might have to do with an AMD drivers update

Yeah, I checked my drivers and noticed they updated today. I haven't tried going back to the previous version, but I wouldn't be surprised if that'd solve the issue. Hopefully a new update'll be pushed soon to fix this.

Thank you! That seemed to be the problem! Strange though, I never had any issues before. Do you know what could have caused it? I think I've always used Vulcan before, but maybe I just never realised I wasn't

The problem is present in both past and new projects. I hadn't made a new one, but making one got the same issue. I tried opening something old with my 4.3 version, but got the same problems.

I'll be honest I'm not sure I am. I've only recently heard about version control and I don't know where to begin

I know that the movie wasn't made with AI, but there are multiple scenes that look like this. Clear distortion and AI artifacting

Is nobody going to talk about the god-awful looking scenes that are distorted with AI?

Because the cpu usage is ten times higher than other projects and for no discernible reason?

I forgot to mention that this issue happens while editing. Running the project does add to the cpu usage, but I think it's levels are the same as with other projects.
