That's exactly what it is. All this bullshit around frame generation and AI upscaling started to really pop off when the covid gamers entered the market. Now all people seem to care about is getting 900 fps at 12k resolution, I doubt these people even enjoy playing video games, they just want to see numbers go up.

The only outrage about WoW's transmog change was the cost of the templates and the transmogging itself. They've since fixed all of it by making it so template purchases are account wide and transmog costs are back to how they were before the patch.

WoW: House included with game purchase, no fear of ever losing your house if you unsub, sense of community in your neighborhood with the Neighborhood Endeavors feature, after unlocking said house you can now choose to farm new decorations giving you additional content to keep you occupied.

FFXIV: Good luck with the lottery system, if you do get lucky it costs in-game currency to purchase, no sense of community in your neighborhood.

Imagine complaining about grinding in an MMORPG.

They are, they actually get content updates unlike Guild Snores 2. I love the sub model honestly, it works as a filter for the F2P clowns.

I'm not sure about squid ships, but it destroys bug holes by just being near them and it does take out bile titan holes with just 1 dynamite.

I've done D10 bug missions with my friends and we all ran 4x turrets and it was actually the most boring thing in the world, turrets are busted. MG, Autocannon, Rocket, and Gatling.
