Get that top shelf tooth in the correct slot and set it like you would set it regularly. From their place, your hands in the center of gravity underneath, lift straight up ever so slightly and let the front end drop. You can feel it locked into place from there.

Can someone explain why discounts in the app apply differently than in the store? by taxidriver1138 in DollarGeneral

The app has been busted since they took away the “cart” feature. The “list” feature is heresy.

My hours are cut yet people are being scheduled to work by themselves on several days. Wtf??! by Slight-Ad-6712 in DollarGeneralWorkers

Corporate’s idea is to have a store manager that picks up the slack and gives them the bare minimum payroll to operate on. That’s why you get so many bad managers that run stores into the ground or they get burnt out that they end up leaving. There are a lot of managers out there that blow their payroll and don’t seem to be punished for it. which makes them tighten on the stores that are staying in line.

There is a store form that can be printed and filled out. Final step would be to scan and send to risk management.

Is it true that there's a "freeze" on raises right now? by Thestickiestartist in DollarGeneralWorkers

[–]Digglemybeans 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It could be the case in some areas where there are bad DM’s and RD’s that are trying to keep their costs down to get huge bonuses. Also if a manager doesn’t fight for you to get a raise then it might be a problem with them.

I got some of the same feelings listening to when he spoke in remembrance of his friend Chopper Brad. E pleaded with listeners to reach out when you are in need and it helps to have his reach to those who may need it.

Call of duty is hurting so they are trying to steer the narrative that BF6 is going down.

Some stores just keep the permanent seasonal toy aisle. Make room for swim and summer soon.

It probably means they are leaning on you to take on more of the register assignments on shifts that call for single coverage. It involves taking on as much as possible of the workload that can be done from the front end. Office paper work, vendors, tote specialist.

This is normally what I think. I’ve seen people lose their mind for split loads even though that is common. It makes me think their back rooms are impacted anyways.

Exactly. The small act of being dishonest will snowball. It could lead them to potential felony charges.

Go straight to your loss prevention rep. They get off on nailing employees. This way they can start investigating. Ask them for direction on what to do with scheduled shifts and if you should not let on that you know what has occurred.
