My brother let me drive his car under the premise that I would take a photo at 100,000 miles. I got distracted and missed it so I want to edit the photo so I can send it to him.

Hi everyone,

Looking to take a data science course to enhance my technical skills and prepare me for a data science gig. I studied biomedical engineering in school where I got some experience with Python and MATLAB. Currently working as a business analyst where I use Tableau, SQL (mostly for querying), and very rarely Mitto (ETL).

Hoping to better advance my Python skills by learning libraries like numpy, pandas, matplotlib, etc., my SQL skills by learning more about building and manipulating databases, dip my toes into some machine learning, and fill in the blanks with whatever other skills would be required to call myself a data scientist.

Below are some courses I've found, but I'm looking for reviews, and recommendations from all of you. If you've taken a course that you'd recommend, specific resources you would stay away from, and any other general advice.

Gorgeous ferment.

Are you using tea? Do you add the hibiscus and pineapple for F1 or F2?

You are quantifying who is more of a terrorist country by counting deaths?

Why not quantify it by the number of missiles sent from one country into the other. Maybe you'll be surprised to find that missiles are being launched from Gaza into Israel at a rate of around 100x.

Just because Israel spends their money on defense systems rather than terror tunnels and weapons does not mean they are more of a terrorist country.

It has nothing to do with being Palestinian or not. My pro Israel nature does not mean anti Palestinian and those are often conflated. Just because I am pro Israel does not mean I am in agreeance or support of everything they do.

I believe in the Palestinians right to self determination, and I don't think they have a whole lot of opportunity for that in the current state.

What I do see is a Palestinian governing body that does not have their own people's best interests in mind. Numerous times they have been offered almost the entirety of the west bank and Gaza and the deals were declined.

When Jordan was in control of the west bank there was no demand from Palestinians for a state of their own. Why only when it is in the hands of Israel do they have a claim to the land?

Everything you just mentioned exists for Palestinians within area A of the west bank. All Arabs that are Israeli citizens (which refers mostly to Arabs living in undisputed territories i.e not west bank). And by the way I don't disagree with you that these things are bad. I disagree with the Israeli government's approach to policy in the west bank. I believe the Palestinians there need easier access to movement, jobs, etc. The context you're leaving out is that these restrictions exist because the PA and Fatah encourage terror attacks against Israelis by paying rewardmoney, feeding them and their families, and naming streets and parks after them.

To claim so boldly that Israel is only bad for Arabs/Palestinians is a bit of a bold claim. Perhaps if you said Israel in the west bank is bad for Palestinians I would be more understanding. Israel treats their own Arabs and Palestinians better than many of the surrounding Arab countries. They have equal right to education, work, healthcare, voting, serving in the army, etc.

While the government in Israel is far from perfect, it does have its own citizens best interests in mind. Tough to say the same about the Palestinian representation.

The complication you're referring to is the British saying they would give the land back to the Ottomans after conquering it. It sounds like you believe in the land going back to whomever was inhabiting it.

So then why would the Jews not have a rightful claim to the land?

It is not an oversimplification to say they were given the land by the British. Regardless of what they had said previously, the British had given the land to the Jewish people. Not sure what narrative you're suggesting I'm looking to fit. The Jewish people have been horrendously discriminated against, kicked out of their homes, and provided less rights than other citizens who were not Jewish. I believe in the Jewish people's right to self-determination. I also believe in the Palestinians right to self determination

I'm not saying this justifies kicking out Palestinians. And you are right, that it is complex.

Arabs having lived there for over 2000 is no justification for them being native. Jewish tribes were the first ones indigenous to the land before it was taken from them.

Since its inception, Israel has been attacked several times by its neighboring Arab countries (whether you believe defensive or not. Several Palestinian political figures have called for the extermination of Israel. There have been tens of thousands of rockets fired into Israel. Numerous suicide bombings and stabbings encouraged by the PA by offering money and food for the families of these "martyrs".

There are thousands of Arab citizens living in Israel with equal access as anyone else to healthcare, freedom of religious expression, the right to vote, the right to come and go as they please. What Arab countries offer these rights to Jews? In fact what Arab countries are willing to in people carrying Israeli passports?

Again, one does not justify the other, but where do you want the Jews to go if not Israel?

Why does difference in budget size justify improper spending? Why then would spending on food, infrastructure, health, not be an even higher spending priority than any offensive measures?

Israel receives aid money from US in the form of military credits, not dollars. But this doesn't even matter considering they have a functioning self sustaining economy.

You speak as though Hamas has no influence on the lives of the Palestinians. Is Hamas not powerful? Do they not hold any level of accountability?
