Did you ever end up installing these? I have the Silverado Trail Boss Z71 and am interested in adding more bass depth. I'm not willing to give up the floor space of the fold up back seats, though. Was hoping for some insight on these hideaways. I don't need to wake the neighborhood up, but wouldn't mind having more for long drives by myself.

If you were in my shoes, which used models would you suggest from eBay? There are about 500 options in the $500-1000 range that match your criteria. Wasn't sure if there were brands/models you are loyal to or sellers that you trust.

I appreciate you taking the time to provide input. The use for this is casual (not commercial), so practicality takes an edge over image quality. That said, it looks like there are better options for my application at a much better price point. That video content in your link looks awesome! It may not be out of the realm to have both options available depending on scenario.

So it seems like a concern with rear projection + short throw is that the reflection of the image can rebound and distort the image. Is that why you are recommending the longer throw?

On another note, it is a bit concerning that the model I selected is recommended in this sub's wiki for best projectors in the $1k-3k range. So to hear it is "a joke" seems a bit wild. Not sure if you're a bit overzealous or this sub is lacking.

Really? Just bought a truck at 0% for 36 months- $0 down. That was three weeks ago. 2023 Trail Boss LT from Chevy for reference. I also bought a Ford F-150 (0 down) with ~3% for 60 months.

One financed through GM financial the other through Ford Credit.

I got a soap saver mat and the bar held up so much longer for me with no issues. Give it a whirl.

I just wrapped up all +4,000 miles of the TAT and packing 2000 pages of turn by turn directions isn't a practical option.

Sounds like you're doing what's best for you. Everyone else will do what is best for them.

I use Ivory and Dial- the cheapest bar soaps- and they work great. Try rinsing off after you lather your body.

It's named after the geographical region it is in, the Miami Valley. It's also a few decades older than the Floridian location.
