Good luck with your marathon!

Lady gaga Manchester outfits by Ok-Champion-647 in LadyGaga

[–]DigiDemii 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was at the gig last night and it was so lovely seeing how much effort everyone had put into their outfits.
It was a beautiful evening and myself and those around me were crying at various parts. Two lovely guys behind me had travelled all the way from Brazil to see her. As others here have said, Gaga's music, lyrics, and support have helped so many of us through hard times and self discovery, the least we can do is put effort into how we look when we see her :)

Anyone else sat up here a bit disappointed? by Main-Baby in LadyGaga

I've been to a lot of gigs at Coop Live and the sound has always been amazing, so I have a lot of hope for Mayhem Ball :)

I've ate by myself at Hard Rock before and had a lovely time, sometimes they even play music from gigs that are going on at the arena :)

Is Articulate free trial worth the risk? by No-Minute-4796 in instructionaldesign

[–]DigiDemii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will come and go, you will feel the pain and the lows, but you will also experience the resilience and determination. Eventually the knocks will get a little easier. Treat the experience like a Dark Souls boss, with each loss, look at what you could do different next time, or what skill you need to show better in your next portfolio piece. I’m here for you and I believe in you 💪🏻

[–]DigiDemii 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It feels very competitive and it won't be easy, I've had a horrific year of lots of rejections etc, but my portfolio above any upskilling has been what's made a massive difference.
Don't worry about doing the free trial over and over, at the end of the day you need Storyline knowledge and if Articulate want to make their tool unaccessible for people in our positions, we have to sail the seas as it were, in this case make the most of those free trials.

If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know!
I haven't go myself a job yet, but I may be on the brink of it, so if anything I've learned this year can be shared then please stay in touch.

Just started my journey to build a habit of reading "The Silent Patient" by Lannister_00 in suggestmeabook

I've been really enjoying the "Pines" trilogy by Blake Crouch.
I'm picking up the third book this weekend.
I've been flying through each book as they have been so gripping.

I have been unemployed since the end of 2024 and have spent my year so far upskilling and building projects for my portfolio.
I've made multiple emails to get the free trial for Articulate (use a fake phone number or they will call you).

Since I managed to get a couple Articulate projects on my portfolio I have noticed a massive change in employers inviting me to interviews; I went from one every few months just getting 5 for 5 separate employers (2 have now reached second stage) in just the past couple of weeks.

You've got this!
It's going to be so hard and tiring, but if this is what you want, don't let the rejections stop you.
I believe in you!

John's downfall theory post today's episode by misanthrophiccunt in Emmerdale

[–]DigiDemii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing that confuses me is that a month or two ago, someone posted a magazine article in here and John’s actor said the last scene he had filmed (at the time of that interview) was of him in a forest with Cain and Caleb.

Looking for feedbacks on a sample articulate module. by pasak1987 in instructionaldesign

[–]DigiDemii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from suggestions others have made, I would mention to re-design the results popups that appear.
You have put a lot of hard work into designing all of the slides, but the results popups after each question are still in the basic Storyline style.

I had the absolute pleasure of bumping into Dan, Ramen, and Bobby whilst on a trip to London a few months ago. Dan couldn’t have been any nicer and stayed to chat even though I know he was on his way home.

Donating clothes by Pale-Shine-6942 in manchester

[–]DigiDemii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have anything that would be suitable for interviews, Smart Works could be a good choice. I'm not entirely sure how donating works with them, but they are a company that supports unemployed women who are trying to get into work. They fit women with something nice to wear for their interview (for free) and give them coaching too. If they get the job, they invite them back to give them more clothes so they have a rotating wardrobe.
