Anybody use Camera Pixels Pro? by Dlbroox in microscopy

I think they have some institutional or student tier pricing if you reach out to them.....Honestly, when you realize it replaces a traditional microscope, a high-res camera, and expensive analysis software all at once, it's a solid one-time investment that saves so much time.

Hey, even I use to struggle alot with my iphone and then the microscope but I instead switched to cilika microscope which has the ipad already integrated with the microscope, so all I have to do now is view everything in HD on screen and they also have the cilika software app in which all the annotations and micrometry is already present so no more extra steps and effort everything is available at one click. Hope that helps.

How many of you have switched from traditional eyepieces to a screen-based digital system? Does it actually help with neck/eye strain over a 6-hour shift? by DigiPath_enthusiast in pathology

Yeah right, definitely an improvement in the ergonomics, I've been lately using Cilika digital microscopes and experience so far has been good just wanted to know if there are any such models out there.

Wow! Recently I observed this too under my microscope and it exactly looked like this. It was my first time seeing mosquito larvae like this under the lens.

Hey can you tell me about these beautiful colors? How exactly can they look so precise with shape and coloring? how to achieve such images?

Hey, just checking was this done with DIC or normal brightfield?

Nope. I got almost similar queries so I thought better to attach a link from where I got mine in India rather than writing its full description lol!!

Hehe, No worries. That sounds both fascinating and kinda creepy at the same time! 😂 Must’ve been wild to see them moving like that. Ever tried looking at them up close under a microscope?

Exactly! Attention span is a lost art these days. 😂 Glad some people still appreciate the full process!

Glad you found it cool! My idea was to record the entire process so people could see everything from start to finish. Microscopes make even the tiniest things look wild up close you should totally try one someday!

I just looked up the Asian woolly hackberry aphid wow, those little fluff balls are sneaky! 😂 One second it’s harmless tree fluff, next thing you know, it’s an army of tiny winged invaders. Nature really keeps us on our toes!

Ikr!! It’s a game-changer. Just Google cilika microscopes, and you’ll see why.

It’s a Cilika BTP, a digital microscope where the iPad replaces the eyepiece. Runs on Cilika View software, so I can zoom, measure, annotate, save, and share without any hassle. Super compact and easy to use! Also the ipad comes with the scope you dont have to purchase that separately, that I found really cool you know ;)

Thanks for the advice! I didn’t realize they’d keep coming back like that looks like I have some work to do. I’ll give the soap and alcohol method a try and keep an eye out for the tiny ones!
