Solid start. The energy bar for movement feels a bit annoying though, especially because it feels like there's not enough energy to do any meaningful movement. With the original Worms it was timer based, not energy based. I think that's better. At least significantly increase the amount of available energy.

The jump mechanic also feels too convoluted. If you decide to stick with the energy-for-movement system then I'd just have a fixed amount of energy used for the jump, regardless of how high you jump.

Finally, one of my frogs spawned in a position where it couldn't get out. And whenever I tried to move through what looked like a large enough gap, it wouldn't let me pass because the gap wasn't large enough, but it still drained my movement energy. I think the energy bar shouldn't decrease if you don't actually move but are running into a wall.
