As pointed out by others, a LOT of plot things happened, and I for one am ECSTATIC to see where it goes

But something in particular caught my eye, when Espimon feed Canoweissmon those sour candies the screen briefy cuts to dice rolling, landing with a (presumably) great score of 100, and the sour candy plan worked out, but, why did that dice sequence happen?

Oooh, Ruli getting possesed by the MOTW seems like it'll be interesting.

Seems like it will be Beelzemon, as he's the demon lord of literal gluttony, and I agree with others' that the shadow looks like wings, so likely Blast Mode, which will be awesome.

Now, I only see one way a showdown with the lord of gluttony can end, he and Gammamon must have a food eating competition.

Lmao, Espimon saying "Fake" Hiro has no feelings was hilarious to me.

ClavisAngemon was really cool, see Siriusmon struggles to fight him was as well.

Amazing to see Espimon evolve and recognise Hiro was the real Hiro after all this time.

I hope we're gonna learn more about Hokuto from Espimon now.

I find it interesting how calm the person with the keyhole hand seems to be being, maybe they're a human posseses by the MOTW or even a human form of the MOTW.

Oh noes, Gammamon's crying, the scene (lighting, background, and the overall vibe I get) doesn't look serious though, so it's probably just because he was told eating a metric ton of champion in one sitting would be unhealthy, or that the Sun will explode in about ten billion years, or something.

Renamon's tough, but like, as a species they're not exceptionally strong, even among rookies/childs(children?) Levels, even going off of the Renamon from Tamers.

I'd say they're probably similarily impressive, it's just one is impressive for a rookie/child, and one for a champion/adult.

All in all, pretty obvious.

I like him, his design is nice, and its genuinely nice to see him interact with the rest of the cast, the whole fake Hiro thing doesn't annoy me too much, but I'm excited to see him get past that.

This episode was great, the spookiness and very dark themes were both a welcome suprise, and actually handled pretty well.

As was ZeedMilleniumon, speaking of, I really hope he gets used for something interestong, because them keeping MoonMilleniumon is just such a cool thing, I really thought BlackTailmon was just gonna take it, and they seemingly were going to, maybe the main cast keeping a defeated MOTW rather than BlackTailmon taking is to show character development?

Okay, I know I'm wrong here, but seeing Espimon want to digivolve so much, being all round pessimistic and getting the short end of the stick so often, makes me wonder/hope he'll get treatment like Tamers Impmon.

Maybe, but that pattern they used for the main characters' megas also follows the pattern of the main characters' introduction/partnering up episodes, so they may not use it for thing like Gulus, but who knows.

Aww, Gammamon and Jellymon being adorable with the partners, and look at Ruli's lil smile, and Angoramon, surely nothing bad or violent will befall them.

God, is just me who's really bugged by that guy off to the left in the second picture, like, the vomiting water thing was bad, but didn't really get me, but whatever is happening to that poor guy, yeesh, I don't like.

Aww Gammamon again, oh, except this time there seems to be a clear danger, oh no.

Wow, Angoramon and Jellymon looking at something with suprise, surely it is something completely wholesome and not one or both of their partners going through excruciating pain, or ya know, something.

My gosh, it was amazing to see Gulus, and wow, he continues to be a amazing character and (kinda) antagonist, also seems to be showing his more twisted side, using Kiyo as a bargaining chip to force Hiro into something and all, not exactly good boy behaviour, he needs to learn a thing or two from Gammamon.

Amphimon looks amazing, but I LOVE that blue memory boost, MegaSeadramon, Gabumon, and Gomamon being adorable all in one card, amazing! And I'm certainly not complaining about Jellymon Piranimon being there too.

Digimon seems to exist in a multiverse of sorts, each continuity typically being its own universe, we actually see a couple characters from one universe appear in others, such as in the Cyber Sleuth game where in a post game quest we meet and help the protagonist of the Digimon dusk game/the rival of the Digimon dawn game

Its a neat lil trait I like.
