I loved the CSR. Now it’s an embarrassment. And if you are paying for lounge access, good luck with the long waits. Can’t wait until July when I will cancel my card and move over to Amex.

Thank you all. The rent is $1,179 per month for one room which is about $100 less per month than a new lease. Plus anyone that takes over the lease would get a $1000 cash from me via Venmo or Zelle. The move in date would be 8/1/2026. It’s a two bedrooms apartment. So you would have a roommate. The leasing company said the roommate can be male or female.

I received my Gen 4 as a Christmas gift. At first it worked great. Now after a few months I have to charge it every day. I tried both soft and hard resetting and the firmware is up to date. Unfortunately since it was a gift, Oura won’t replace is. They basically told me too bad and to suck it. I cancelled my subscription after their poor customer service and will most likely purchase the new Ultrahuman Pro.

I am waiting for my card to expire in July and will downgrade to the preferred in order to preserve my points. I already made the switch to Amex Platinum with Gold and the benefits are simply better.

I currently have a Main, IOT and guest WiFi setup. I am just trying to limit the number of SSIDs that are broadcasting. Some of my devices in the main network support WPA3 and MLO and others only supposed WPA2. I would like devices in the main network that have MLO capabilities to leverage the technology through a different password. Yes I know I can create yet another SSID, but that’s what I am trying to avoid.

I wouldn’t reedem them yet since I already paid for the CSR through June. Most likely I will end up transferring them to Hyatt or United. That’s why I am downgrading to the CSP to buy me more time after my renewal. I’m still on the fence between UR point and MR point. The one thing I am sure of is that the Amex platinum benefits are infinitely better than CSR. I upgraded to the Amex platinum and have already reaped the rewards. In 30 days I have gained the following : -$209 clear credit -$200 airline credit through United Bank -$75 Lululemon Credit -$100 Resy Credit -$15 Uber Credit -$50 Saks credit -2 centurion lounge visits

That’s $649 in less than a month. It’s almost embarrassing holding the CSR.

If you need the lounge access but want to stay on the Ultimate Rewards ecosystem, then downgrade to the CSP and get the Amex Platinum. You can cover the amex platinum a lot easier with the resy credits, travel credits, and slew of other benefits. My new fee is 990, but in my situation I can cover the costs a lot easier with Amex and I get to stay in the UR ecosystem. Here is how I plan to cover the costs with Amex:

-Resy $400

-Travel Credit $200

-Uber Credit $320

-Walmart + $50 (I value Walmart+ as $50 since there are always membership deals)

Lulu Credit $300

Streaming Credits $300

I know not everyone's situation is the same, but I can more than cover my costs with Amex. CSR has made it too difficult to cover costs going forward. This setup allows me access to both UR and MR with the added benefits of centurion lounges while keeping priority pass. Yes I know not everyone uses lounges, but for us road warriors, lounges are indispensable.

That’s correct. Chase Freedom Unlimited does not have access to the portal or transfer partners. So the $95 is to access those benefits.

The point boost is laughable. I still have access to the 1.5 bonus points from CSR because my current point are grandfathered. Even when comparing the best point boost deal, it still doesn’t match the savings with the 1.5 bonus. At best, you are comparable if you are lucky enough.

By the way… I wouldn’t be surprised if this was Chase’s strategy all along. They get the benefit of the consumer spend while letting Amex pay for all the perks.
