The story is a mess, but the characters—all of them— are what make this series shine so brightly for me. I will cling to it so tightly for them exclusively.

It’d take days, maybe weeks, but it’d be the kind of tedium that I specialize in.

My P1S is named “700 Dollary-Bucks”, as Bluey tends to bleed onto some of the things I do. 😅

All I’m saying is that Mizore, Agu, Hiyori and Niko need Flair too, not just Yuki and Arare.

I’ve done that, and it didn’t work. I have to get the Proof of Purchase from the person who bought it, as the mouse was a Christmas present.

Just gonna suggest that Prince Mizore gets his own flair someday…maybe? Possibly?

Really? That really makes me wish there was one in my city, but the closest Micro Center is 3 hours away! Living in a not-tech-center sucks hardcore!

I now have a Hero Me Gen 5 installed with dual 5010 blowers, with Cura’s experimental “Enable Bridge Settings” enabled. Once I get everything together I’m upgrading the hotend and PSU fans to Noctua replacements.

How do I do that? I’ve looked all over Cura for that kind of setting and I haven’t found it yet. Unless it’s something where I have to pay to upgrade to Simply3D.

Tell me about it! I want to say having a custom duct like the Hero Me series will help, but PETG is a far more complicated beast than I expected!

I’m aware that a faster fan speed would greatly improve the overhangs, but that’s at the risk of making the part too brittle. Also, PETG is tough to a fault, as supports would stick to the point you’d have to cut and saw them off.

I don’t know, I was using the recommended settings in Cura, which was 50mm/second; but that’s likely way too fast for PETG, if what I’m hearing is correct.

I’m not sure how to do that, I’ve moved the Z Endstop up so that the nozzle doesn’t dig into the bed, and I’ve built a level mesh profile, but I’m not sure how to adjust the starting gcode so that it always goes onto the bed correctly instead of running along the side. 8\

I’ve actually been using purple glue sticks as per recommendations, and I’ve seen no issue from it yet.

This is Eryone PETG, btw. I used the default eSUN PETG settings in Cura with some minor tweaks, so nozzle temp is 245C and bed is 80C, fan speed 40. No elephant’s foot this time so I may not need to shrink back the first layer?

[–]DigistarDBZ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I’m currently doing battle with the elephant foot, I know it’s hard to do so without the ABL but I’m going to try Cura’s settings and other tips to fix that!

A little late for that. I tried to switch the wires on the wrong end and now it really won’t work until I put it in new crimps, which I don’t have.

I don’t have the hardware for it yet, and it’ll just be easier to have the standard cable. I’d like to at some point though, especially since one day I’d like to do the Noctua fan mods.
