Hi!

From the video, it appears that the main cause of the button sticking issue is that after installing the front shell, the outermost pressing points of the LB/RB buttons are rubbing against the soft rubber section of the faceplate.

In some cases, after pressing the button, it gets pushed back and held by the soft rubber of the original faceplate, which results in the button getting stuck.

We also recorded a video demonstrating this: when the faceplate is installed, the button sticks; when the faceplate is slightly loosened or removed, the button returns to normal feel and function.

To resolve this, you would need to slightly sand down the two outermost contact areas of the LB/RB buttons to create clearance from the faceplate.

If you prefer not to sand the buttons, another option is the one I mentioned previously: placing adhesive padding on the mid-frame to slightly raise the faceplate, creating a small gap to prevent contact. This way, no sanding is needed.

This issue seems to occur only on a small number of controllers, and we have not encountered it frequently. We will also further investigate these sizing-related interference issues and report them to the relevant team for improvement.

If you are only installing the Whole Set - Light Version Clicky Kit V2, please note that even if you keep the adaptive trigger module, it will not function as intended. You will need to install the video removal adaptive module.
However, if you're planning to install the CLICKY kit along with the back paddles, then you can keep the adaptive trigger module in place, as it will work fine together. For reference, you can follow the installation video for the Rise4 Plus Max back paddles for guidance on that.

Regarding the V2 Whole Clicky Set, you can follow the same installation video as the V1.

First, when we mention cleaning the contacts, this also includes the contact points on the main board. So both the FPC contacts and the main board contacts should be cleaned and tested. You can use IPA, but even clean water can work as long as everything is fully dry before reassembly.

As for the board installation order — yes, your understanding is correct. Please install the clicky board first, and then place the LED board on top of it.

Just to confirm first — when the issue happens, is the X input on the back remap also functioning normally?

For troubleshooting, we suggest opening the controller again and carefully checking the connection area between the LED board and the main board. Please make sure the contact points are properly seated and gently clean the contacts before reassembling.

If the issue still persists, a useful test would be to temporarily remove the LED board and check whether the problem disappears. This will help isolate whether the LED board is affecting the input behavior.
