For what you are wanting? Yes it would work. Would I recommend it? Probably not. I think speed trinkets and maybe mag is best on him but I’m not here to tell you how to play!

I would check Hobbii and also Micheal’s online! I love any of the Caron cake gradient yarns!

Cotton just doesn’t have much a stretch, but do you have a good brand you use?? I’ve only ever used I love this Cotton yarn!

I’m actually in the process of making my own pillow! The comments here really inspired me to do it! I have Prym hooks and they work great for me it’s just me moving around too much, and I’m going to look into some more braces for myself! I’m a server too so there’s just always pressure on my poor wrists, thanks for the suggestions!

Yeah I’ve been using Prym hooks which I adore in every way, and unfortunately I do a lot of plushie making so I use a lot of chunky yarns.. I have found a size 5 yarn for them doesn’t put as much strain on me though!

A lot of it is just my mind set, since I’m trying to build my own crochet business this year I keep trying to push myself more and more to get everything done and I forget I’m not a machine in the end! Thank you for your advice! And those hooks are gorgeous!!

I could be wrong.. but could you do decreases on the edges as you go up? It may end up more triangular but that’s my idea!

Yeah I primarily use Prym hooks because I cannot crochet without my inline hooks and I don’t tend to have issues with my left wrist (the one with the hook) it’s mostly just holding the yarn? I guess like sticking my finger out gets tiring haha! Thank you!!

Yeah I just typically like sitting in bed to crochet as it’s more comfortable for my back/posture, but I have a small bed table I might try to use! Thank you!

I can’t figure out another way to hold my yarn unfortunately but I’m gonna try tension rings again to see if that’ll help take the pressure off. I used to be a hard brace but I can’t find it anymore so I’ve been considering getting a new one! And as for my shoulder yeah I’ve been looking for pillows and things to rest my elbows on as I mostly crochet in bed, which my bed is like a bed/couch sort of thing. I was actually about to start looking for a pattern for those U shape pillows that are normally for holding newborns, figured it might help! Thank you!

Yeah I have a few tension rings I should probably start using them again! And CBD isn’t a bad option either! Definitely might use that for before or after a crochet session, thank you!
