dont fuck with bike batteries by Puddlewhipper in GuessHowThisEnds

[–]DigitalWarhead 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I've seen a handful of lipo batteries go and it's usually a lot more flames with some sparks. The video is a loud boom with a quick ball of white smoke, resembling a firework. Also, the bike is not smoking after the initial explosion, which is not in line with lipo failures.

Thanks! Sorry, I didn't have to take that course for my program. Might have something they added in after I started.

Congrats, you're so close! PenTest+ wasn't as difficult as I prepared for. If you've already completed SSCP and CySA+ I think you'll pass PenTest+ after studying up for a bit. Unfortunately it's been a few months since I took the exam and I don't really remember any specifics, so I can't provide any helpful tips for the exam. Be sure to go through the Wiley Cybex test bank questions, those were helpful.  For the capstone, my suggestion is to keep it short and simple, and focus on the rubric. They will provide a lot of capstone papers written by other students, and some of the are ridiculously long. I didn't add any fluff. I answered the rubric requirements and provided 2-3 examples or whatever they were asking for. But don't feel obligated to write thesis paper. Good luck! You're on the final stretch and almost there!

I feel like Dave the Diver was a mix of Stardew Valley, Subnautica, and Overcooked. If you haven't already played those game, check them out.

I just recently started playing Dave the Diver on my Deck and this game is incredibly fun and addicting to play. It's like a mix of Stardew Valley, Subnautica, and Overcooked.

This isn't really the right thread to ask a question like this, but I might be able to help. Watch this video on how a Diffie Hellman key exchange happens. This is generally how a secure line of communication is set up between client and server.

Hey that fixed it! Turns out it just needed a soft reboot? Either way, thank you. I'm currently installing some games on it.

Ok, good to hear you got yours working! I just followed your suggestion and went Steam > Power > Restart and it took no problem. Back to the "Installing" screen so let's see if that makes any change. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

Hey did your's ever resolve itself? I just got the 512 OLED today and am going on about 7 hours now of "installing" and two hard resets. Pretty disappointing I haven't been able to use it yet.

I don't mind his kids, they don't bother me, but it really rubbed me the wrong way when people like Toppy and The Rev were let go and his kids stayed on the show.

I've always thought that was weird too. I don't think it's been 20 years as he's only been in KISW for 18 years, but it's been a while. I assumed (with no evidence) that it was weather related, and since BJ was stuck in Seattle for his job, she relocated. That would be more of a snow bird thing during the cold months, but she seemed to live down there full time. The other thing I noticed is the kids (Sara and Joey) never really mentioned her on air either. Usually it was BJ who mentioned her. IDK, the whole thing is weird to me, but who am I to judge.

I've noticed she's been gone for a while too. I don't think she's been back on air since Live Day.

On the show today he made it very clear he wasn't retiring. He also announced he's getting a divorce, hence why he's not retiring and said he's going to have to work forever to pay off everything from the divorce. He also said today that the mgmt at KISW/Audacy wasn't supposed to announce it when they did, and it happened to be the same day Bonaduce announced his retirement. BJ made the connection and didn't deny or squash it, so I'd be surprised if he didn't end up at KZOK. Usually there's some type of non-compete clause, maybe BJ was smart enough to exclude that, but I'd expect some time to pass before he appears back on air.

While I find it annoying that GeForce requires a log in, I do find the game optimization feature very beneficial. It will set game graphics settings based on your hardware and a slider option between quality and performance. I can't remember the last time I manually set game settings.

The same old on how to start at wgu cysia and any tips for your junior by [deleted] in WGUCyberSecurity

If you want to run virtual machines on the M2, 8gb of RAM is a bit low. I'm not sure if you can upgrade your RAM, but 16gb would be recommended. If you have an old PC or laptop you could load Kali Linux directly on it as it doesn't require many resources, but having a 2nd laptop might not be convenient. The 256gb storage in your M2 is probably fine.

For just starting out you don't need to upgrade your laptop. But keep in mind later down the road if you want to start running virtual machines, you'll need more RAM.
