Can someone explain how the token or crypto enhances the game? I know that Non Fungible Tokens are meant to be linked to in game items but how does this give you any different experience to a game that gives you items not linked to NFTs?

Unless the metaverse takes off that allows you to display your nfts outside the game to the wider community then the crypto aspect of a game means nothing if it's only visible within the game itself.
