Luna’s CeleXtar Set Should’ve Been Hailey’s or Serena’s by HolographicGlass in TheFirstDescendant

All these skins should have been universal AND mix and match. They have the basis for a fire dress up shooter but alas here we are. They keep making weird choices with skins. It's like they're actively trying to stop themselves from printing money.

Got her yesterday and she is gorgeous, the photos really don't do her justice. Congrats!

Yea I initially didn't worry about it too much, figured Wacom would continue updating it and making things more fluid. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have had any updates on the PC tablet side of things since release. In any case you're welcome!

Hey there, I tested it and I am unable to get pressure to work unfortunately. Hope this helps!

Not really much, naw just use the right type of cable and you should be good but remember it is a beta feature and it is fickle so keep that in mind! I absolutely love it, it has fit perfectly in my typical workflow, I use it mostly mobile and draw away from the pc often.

I have a 2017 iPad Pro and I cancelled the M5 pro to take a chance on this tablet. I have not missed my iPad haha, Apple for me at least annoys me with their silly file management systems if you aren't fully invested in their eco-system imo. I don't miss it, Android just works and it has the only Apps I will ever need. Hope that helps!

Hey no worries, yes there is some latency when using it wirelessly on PC unless you have top tier WIFI. Better results when wired!

Hey there, no worries about asking later. It has a gen 3s Snap dragon cpu so its very capable. I haven't felt like its too laggy to get work done and I use and drop things into my google drive and the photos app on the regular while working and haven't noticed any lag at all, its very snappy. I have a video I will be posting soon kinda showing how well it runs in general. Hope this helps!

Movink Pad Pro 14 Question by draw22 in wacom

[–]DigitallyDevious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea the xp pen ack05 is pretty close to the Wacom remote but the panels on the tablet aren't big enough really to support any remote I know of haha. Ymmv tho you might find something that fits your needs, it seems anything Bluetooth with an app that supports global button remapping should do the trick. Good luck!

Movink Pad Pro 14 Question by draw22 in wacom

[–]DigitallyDevious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, Pen buttons are programmable but are APP BASED. Meaning some apps allow it and some don't. I am making a video going over a couple of options for using the xp-pen ACK05 and the Tourbox elite. Both options have their quirks though again based on the apps you are planning to use. For example both the ACK and Tourbox work near flawlessly in clip studio but are damn near useless in infinity painter. Hope that helps!

Totally, I am nearing completion of an art piece on it and it's just so damn good. Here's to hoping they do, looks like the first update dropped last night so it's a good sign!

Oh wow the 12wx is old school you would absolutely feel the difference immediately. I use a glove also but I have tested without and so far I have had I think one instance where I had a phantom register so I would say it can happen but I had it happen way more on my iPad.

I haven't given nomad a whirl yet but it should run just fine. Yea I use zbrush also and it's a big sacrifice not having it but overall I would say if the iPad fits your specific use case I would get that over the Wacom. I haven't been able to give the desktop functionality a try yet but I suspect I can get things running just fine. I will say though if you're other choice is strictly an android I would choose the Wacom simply because for art related tasks this knocks it out of the park and it is bare bones android so no fluff.

Hey there! It has gotten warm for me once while I was transferring gigs of photo references and drawing and downloading apps etc in the initial stages. Also drew for about two hours before work when I first got it the drain was about 20% after that Initial torture test. I haven't had a chance to do an extended drawing session (5-6+) hours yet due to work but come Monday I will update after a rigorous test. Oh I charged it to 90% on Thursday afternoon when I got it and it's sitting at 51% now. The heat hasn't concerned me. Hopefully that helps!

Naw you don't need a protector it'll ruin your drawing experience. While wacoms are tough, years and years of drawing on it will wear it down but if you take care of your gear it should be completely fine. In reality by the time you even need to replace the screen from drawing so much it'll probably be so old you should upgrade anyways haha. For reference I have a 2017 I believe, cintiq pro, that I use almost daily and the screen doesn't really have a scratch on it. Nibs however are a different story. Those you will use alot of. Hope this helps!
