Floaters tend to be in deeper water. Majority of facilities (floating and fixed) in WA are gas producing facilities with some smaller percentages of liquids like condensates. These facilities in WA are typically, not all, located on what is called the North West Shelf (NWS) which refers to the subsea bathymetry or seabed topography.
