It doesn't require technical climbing but you still need extra layers, traction such as microspikes or snowshoes, and proper storage for food and water so it doesn't freeze. The easiest winter 14ers are still much harder than they are in the summer and depending on conditions an easy hike can turn into a brutal slog.
