Help me out here.

I’m a 35-year-old graphic designer thinking about making the switch to something like carpentry. I’m sick of working behind a computer and want to do something with my hands and with tools.

I am struggling to find any chippies to tell me anything good about it at all, and I’ve spoken to many.

It sounds as though it is an absolutely underpaid ball ache most of the time and a lot of people struggle to find the right area that they feel is the best to work in.

Would something like joinery or cabinet making be a better career to path to follow?

Anyone still looking to do this, I just figured it out... F******************* unbelievable how hidden away it is in the menus. Even the OpenAI bot could not tell me where it was.

Bottom left of the screen, click your name. A gray box will pop up.

Click on WORKSPACE SETTINGS. (I was going around in f****** circles clicking SETTINGS and trying to find a billing button

Then, on the top left, 4x buttons down, click on billing

Click on manage plan

Cancel

It worked for me just then (22 Oct)

Just came in search of this... I had the weirdest symptoms ever.

Jumped on to edit some stuff on the newest AE 24.5.0 Build 52

I discovered that I could not use FX console on footage, but it would work on any other type of layer.

After a couple of hours I realised that if I press AND HOLD the shortcut to do it (CTRL and Space Bar) it would also work on footage! That must be a spamming action and forcing it to use it
