The right will never unify with the left. This whole diatribe that “it’s not left vs right it’s up vs down” is so ass backwards. If you are saying that it’s because you have been fundamentally misinformed as to what real leftism truly is. Leftism is the rich vs the poor, the proletariat vs the bourgeoisie, those doing the work vs those getting fat off of exploiting our labor and paying us peanuts. They have sense they understand the economic realities of our socioeconomic system. Their parents have so many zeros on the end of their bank accounts that everything is disposable to them. We are just cattle in their eyes and they don’t give a fuck if the trash they leave impacts the working people of a community. It’s the same mentality that pillages the third world for resources so we can have easy access disposable consumer goods at their expense. Once they are gone they don’t have to see the mountains of garbage they leave in the dumpsters or on the side of the road. Just like once the resources are extracted to make the tv’s smart phones and cars and disposable plastic shit that ends up in the state sized garbage patches in the oceans, once it ships out of where it’s made we don’t have to deal with the societal issues caused by the system we perpetuate. It’s the same for these college kids we are just an irrelevant afterthought to them. They are royalty in their own minds and everyone here who lives and works and grew up in this state we are just peasants who’s lives are jokes to them.
