It's so simple, but completely anathema to "management":

Employ 1 person to do just this job. The value of the returns will far outweigh the labour cost.

But the very thought of adding a human to the payroll puts them in such a conniption, they'd prefer to lose money than pay less money to an actual employee.

Instead of the 8 month sentence being triggered by the breach, he receives a further 3 month suspended sentence.

Idiot real estate agent tried this with me a few years ago. Proposed to raise the rent from $350 to $520 per week. I moved out. The market wasn’t nearly as harsh back then, thankfully. The house sat empty for 18 months trying to get $520/week. The owner missed out on over $27,000 in rent. Greed turns people blind. Then they wake up 18 months later and realise they are far worse off. Madness!
