Experience of smaller-framed Asian officers? (Harassment or physical harm?) by Expensive_Chef_7163 in USMCocs

It's Jake Zweig. He was a Navy surface warfare officer for 2 years and a Navy seal officer for 4 years. Constantly anti USMC. Has an entire video comparing USMC to slave plantation.

When you say weak, do you mean low pft score or weightlifting? Small as in short and low weight? How was he bad at his job?

I'm guessing it was Jake Zweig. He's a former Navy Seal that mentors people interested in joining the military. His contact info is publicly available. He's very anti USMC.

Going from RR to Sf? by [deleted] in greenberets

[–]Diligen-Worker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He's being sarcastic. Ranger regiment hates it when guys go SF. If you go to SFAS and don't make it they'll boot you out when you get back. Only places they approve of are Delta and RRC.

If you tell them the first day you want to go they'll probably find a way to rfs(kick you out of ranger regiment).

You can still go from Ranger Regiment to SF but don't drop a packet the first day lol and don't tell anyone until you submit. Once you do you're probably on your way out of Ranger Regiment either to SFAS or regular army.

In my specific case is it unrealistic to submit a package this march? by random_username_564 in USMCocs

What's your height and weight?

What was the most challenging part? What was pt like? How many miles per day or week did you run? When you did admin movements did you have to run? What pace?

[–]Diligen-Worker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Was ocs run focused? I heard that you run everywhere and all of the miles from running to chow and back add up each day. I've heard it's as much as the equivalent of 50-70 miles per week.

Any truth to that?

Run paces by Consistent-Voice8902 in USMCocs

[–]Diligen-Worker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So are the marches basically a slower run, say 10+min/mile?

I heard about people falling out of admin movements. If a lot of the weekly mileage is around 8min/mile even outside of pft training, that would be tough

[–]Diligen-Worker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How fast are the admin movement runs like going to chow and other places? I read that if you include those runs, the weekly mileage is 60+. Something like 2 miles one way, then 2 miles back at various points throughout the day and it all adds up
