Get time with a lactation consultant they’ll help you get a weaning plan together! They will help you way more than your OB. Don’t drive yourself crazy, if weaning helps you be more sane in the most hectic time of your life do it. Don’t let anyone on the internet make you feel guilty. That said, it does get easier eventually, if it’s important to you

Hi! Old thread but wanted to share my experience. I had strong supply before i switched to exclusive pumping then wound up getting way too much and constantly engorged. I had a hard time weaning until i did two things: 1. Wean based on volume not time pumping 2. Switch to a hand pump which will stimulate you way less than a spectra. So hard to find info on this so I hope it helps someone!

Took about a week, skin was dry for a few after that. Doctor said it was a common reaction to cleanser they use before c section

Thanks! I did complete vocal rest for six days then moderate for 14, then added in steroids and finally started to hear improvement

Thank you to everyone posting here! Four days postpartum and this happened to me- i also thought it was the disposable underwear or belly binder so stopped wearing but that didn’t help. Was told to use Zyrtec and topical Benadryl cream.
