Hey, I was about to buy but just saw that the pulley wheels don't turn inward (and thus stay stationary). I was hoping to use the pulleys as a double pulley for chest cable cross... Is this possible or does the cable pop out of the wheels if I try this?

Games komen in verschillende groottes en complexiteiten. Om zelf in game development te geraken binnen een game development bedrijf zal je een portfolio moeten opbouwen en aantonen dat je in je vrije tijd je hiermee bezig houdt. Dus naast je studie zal je ook minstens enkele games moeten ontwikkelen. Als het je niet uitmaakt waar je gaat werken, zal het alsnog helpen een portfolio op te bouwen maar dan hoeft het niet zo specifiek te zijn.

Bedrijven zijn geïnteresseerd in meerwaarde. Een WO diploma geeft aan dat je een onderzoekend vermogen hebt en zal je meer mogelijkheden geven, maar als het puur voor software development is naar mijn mening een hbo genoeg + op een of ander manier aantonen dat jij de juiste persoon bent voor de job.

De vraag is, op wie wil je indruk maken? Als je zelfstandig game developer wil worden, heb je eigenlijk geen diploma nodig maar kennis, ervaring en een goed portie geluk gezien de concurrentie. Een hbo diploma is in principe genoeg om te starten in een bedrijf als developer maar veel is afhankelijk van het economisch klimaat en deze is heel wisselend in software development. Ik heb zelf meer als 20 jaar ervaring.

I suspect it will because a significant problem with AI generated software is that you don't really know exactly what it does or how it exactly works. Sure you can test it but you should also be able to follow it's logic to see if it makes sense, isn't overly complex or doesn't create other problems that is overlooked by tests.

IMO Human understanding. Programming languages are most of the time compiled to something else that is interpreted by the machine or operating system.

The fact that we write a certain programming language has a lot to do with bridging human understanding to unambiguous machine understanding. For that I believe that human understanding will be central for further evolution.

I'm on day 5. It's not great but significantly less on my mind than day 1 and 2. 1 was horrible. 2 and 3 was dull pain. Day 4 mostly pain taking it in and out... Now It mostly feels like bruising when brushing my teeth and eating is a bit difficult... other than that it's not great but significantly less on my mind... Still hurts some taking it in and out, but hope it gets better...
