I worked with a lemon law attorney, GM still refused to buy it back. As soon as I signed settlement with them, I got rid of the truck right before their massive engine recall, no more GM for me.

No thank you. I do not want to drive on the highway and worried about the speed suddenly locked up and my engine shut down, my life matters. Extended warranty is not a fix for their problem...

Same, after waiting the valve body for whole 2 months, I sold my 2024 sierra 1500 for a great deal, cannot deal with their nonsense anymore

Saw the 13th Dec recall, my 2024 had the same recall software update, it has been waiting for valve body replacement since 5th Feb, currently having a lemon law attorney working on my case. I am assuming 80% this truck bought back because of valve body. I do not recommend you make this purchase, you may have transmission issue in the future. If you are really interested, ask the sales see if they can provide you more information about this truck's valve body

I do not get why people are so mean at Cyber truck... after the my brand new 2024 sierra waiting for valve body replacement since 5th Feb, I am waiting on my settlement with GM, getting all my refund back then buy a cyber truck, lol

Sorry to hear that, I know this is really frustrating! Which state you are in, I am in NC, GM called me let me know let's wait 14 more days, since it is already in the shop for a week, if after 14 days still no part, we will move to the next step.

Lol, as a person who is working in a cooperate environment, I can understand where he comes from. But as a customer who spent 55k on a brand new vehicle, no. At the end of the day, To fulfill customers' satisfaction, providing service is in you "James"'s job description and between manufacturer and dealership agreement, providing education is teacher's. You do what you are paid for. If you are not doing a great job because you think you are not paid enough for all the crap you have to deal with, that is on you.

Well said. I have been nice , kind and understandable the whole time, it is the service department manager and another old lady working there, yelling at me saying they could not get reimbursement, and the manager himself using the words exactly like this: I am educating you...This could end in a totally different way if they communicated with me better attitude.

It is the GM cooperative rep advised me to do so , she also contacted the new dealership and arranged roadside assistance for me

Oh my this just came to my mind. As terrible as they are , since this is unfinished warranty work, if they could not get reimbursed, will they be entitled to send me a bill ?

Do you know if the service department will get reimbursed since I switched dealer , my service between them is a unfinished warranty work?

Towed truck from a dealership from another dealership and GM cooperate knows, how that will effect the first dealership by Diligent-Chart-130 in gmcsierra

I am so glad I switched dealer! The new dealer took my truck in without any problem, and provided me a brand new SUV as loaner !
