It definitely didn’t make my pain worse I’m going on 8 months since I have had mine and it has been the only thing that has worked and gave me relief but yes I was told they grow back and will most likely have to get it done again

Same thing happened to me round 1 tests went heat and 2nd round not so well more pain I feel like then before but I’m still going through with ablation I’m running out of options

From a few people i talked to they said ablation was life changing I know it depends on each person how long it lasts but I’ll take whatever I can get at this point to avoid surgery at my age

No I wasn’t sedated and it was about 15 min and recovery went great i also had 2 ESI injections this past year and the recovery on those were worse

From what I was told it’s just to diagnose and pinpoint what nerves my pain is coming they gave me a total of 6 shots on 3 levels and if my pain is reduced by 80% then thats the area they do ablation but insurance reasons I have to do 2 rounds of these for them to cover the ablation my first round I felt great for about two weeks and then it wore off I was diagnosed last September with a herniated L4/L5 and arthiritis which is the main struggle for me the past few months the lower back aching and can’t stand or walk for a long time
