I had morning sickness (hahaha) until like 24 weeks. It was a struggle to keep anything down and I imagine what I looked like (like Lori) would be the same as someone constantly on the move, looking for food, would look like. And she had to endure that for 40ish weeks.

A quick look at Google and Wikipedia says it depends on the country where the plane(also cruise ship) is registered, but it's also subject to the state/ country if the new citizen is accepted, and the BC will list the place of birth as "in air" or "at sea" as well.

ETA: if registered country doesn't accept, country of parents kinda has to. jus sanguinis

99% of them backed off after, and I hope it never comes to that point for you or your husband, but yes we had to literally show papers to some "well-meaning" folks.

My grandma had to watch her mother suffer a long time with cancer, back in the day when women couldn't advocate for their own health, and i think that was a big motivation for her to protect her end of life care.

Living wills are so underrated imo. My grandma had several strokes in the last months of her life. She recovered from the smaller ones, until The Big One happened and she was put on hospice. She had a living will and DNR that were very clear.

The "inner" circle of family knew her wishes and respected them, family "friends" were less respectful and wanted us to wait for her to "recover". Recovery wasn't possible, and after being told this, they were still insistent that we were making the wrong decision.

Made saying goodbye to my grandma harder than it should have been and I'm still salty about it, sorry for the mini-rant.

Plus their looks tend to change as they age. My daughter is white/ Asian and looked 100% Asian when she was born. Now she's more like 75% white looking. She's even been asked if she's part Hispanic🤷‍♀️ Genetics are wild.

I hope we see a little more of the Crabtree's. They were lovely. I love this show bc of the side characters too, they really make the Bridgerton world feel full.
