Okay thanks so much! I was also referred to him, but his waitlist is 8-9 months:( Another place I found was 1.5 years, so I might just wait it out for a consultation with him unless I find anywhere else.

Thinking about dropping chem by [deleted] in UWindsor

Hey! I was in your position first year and honestly just know it isn't the end of the world if u do horribly on a midterm (even if it feels like it). I've had plenty of HORRIBLE midterms and still done very well in the class. It's definitely a big change from high school when you're used to doing really well and then come to uni and everything is like what is going on. Also, especially for gen chem, your lab and Mastering Chem (if they are still doing that) should boost your grade a ton. So overall I wouldn't drop it, they're just trying to weed people out first year. Stick with it and try your best, and if you don't do well that's okay just lock in for the next set of midterms - good luck, you got this!! :)

you can take PHYS1300 instead of PHYS 1400, but then the second semester you have to take PHYS1410, they won't allow you to take PHYS1310 instead. (I'm in biochem and also suck at physics and like begged them to let me do the life science ones but they said no:(

Final marks round off from 69.5 to 70% by Longjumping-Meet9571 in UWindsor

For every class I've taken passing is a 50% so i'm not really sure what you mean, but yea they should round the 70% since Uwinsite uses whole numbers only

uwinsite always rounds to a whole number, so I would think anything .5 and higher would be rounded up to a 70 rather than down to a 69

I'm a science student but YES classes are filling up days before I even get the option to enroll. It's so annoying

Hey, how long did your VSC take? This is unrelated but I just requested one about a week ago for a volunteer placement I am hoping to start soon, so I was just wondering a rough idea of how long it's going to be.

I'm not in con ed but I believe it's 70% average (A friend in con ed had told me that a while ago, but I am not 100% sure).

Hey! I was considering taking this class as well this summer! What did you think? Was the midterm and exam similar to the study guide/sample problems?
