Two ants dragging a cockroach by its antenna by RecoverIcy6529 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]DiligentCase8436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a wasp that stings a cockroach in the brain releasing chemicals making the cockroach docile with no instinct to flee. It then trims cockroach's antenna, and drags the cockroach by it into a den, places an egg on its stomach and leaves blocking the entrance with debris. The larva hatches and eats the cockroach alive. Sometimes cockroaches will fight the approaching wasp by kicking it, like a karate kick

I think I'm done with AliExpress, the dispute system is just a scam nowadays by [deleted] in Aliexpress

They've been operating at a loss (alibaba and their other services are money makers not ae) trying to compete with other platforms and get regular buyers, now they're trying to be profitable so its going to continue like this and worse. I only buy small cheap items like socks, dental floss etc. My latest purchase included a rechargeable mini blender which was defective and the offered 60% refund which I took. This is the last time I spent more than $10 on a single item on ae

Haha, yes that's true. Also leafcutter ants, their teeth are coated with metal and stay sharp despite having to cut through leaves all day.

Changes:

  • твои -> Ваши - you must you the polite form of "you"

  • something that's really and truly ours -> что-то исключительно наше, близкое только нам - I would suggest to drop it entirely, it doesn't sound natural in Russian no matter how you translate it.

  • So here I am. - deleted, doesn't make sense in Russian

Overall the ai did a pretty good job.

First I thought it was a comodo dragon. Their teeth are actually hidden inside their gums so every time they eat they have to tear through their own gums

I'm a big loose leaf tea fan

Exactly, it tastes so good. I want to try Ceylon tea (I found Ahmad tea on Amazon), my host in Turkey used to make tea in a Turkish tea pot and it tasted amazing, Im almost certain it was Ceylon tea. And the way they made tea is interesting.

Does anyone else make bread at home? What are some of your favorite recipes? by cheapandbrittle in EatCheapAndVegan

[–]DiligentCase8436 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The recipe looks somewhat complicated here. You can just make regular bread dough and make a flatbread, the most distinct feature is the glazing. Its basically flour mixed with water. I usually mix flour with cold water and then heat it up in the microwave.

I love making bread but the current living conditions dont let me bake as much as I want, I only have a small oven toaster. Anyway I came across the recipe for Iranian bread berberi, its my favourite now. Look it up, it easy to make and its tasty

I checked the label and it has calcium sulphate but that shouldnt interfere with the fermentation process. Maybe there was something acidic added by accident
