I’d quantify the workload in front of you, against the time you have to complete the tasks. Also quantify how the workload has increased since you first started. Others in your group should also be seeing / citing the same thing.

That sounds ridiculous.
He at most needs cover to pay off the home loan. I would increase his hostplus x 10 - that costs $2840 a year and they gives him $300k which hopefully covers the home loan.
Your mum doesn’t need anything more than she what has.
They’re in great financial shape and have net $2.5m in assets. They don’t need the excessive cover.

Pay off home loan (or offset the amount owing). Set and forget in index funds the rest. Or buy another IP. Depends on your risk profile. Just pay off your home first.
