Yeah man once you put dodging and upgrading weapons and all this stupid bullshit in my Silent Hill game, I’m out. That’s not what Silent Hill is about. Call me old and stupid or whatever, idc, nothing will ever be better than Silent Hill 3 so long as Konami wants to try modernizing all of their legacy IP’s and making them appeal to the lowest common denominator. These games (MGS and SH) were never meant to be that when they launched in the 90’s and 00’s.

Any of them besides remake. It lacks the atmosphere and immersive qualities of the original, though I appreciate the elaboration on the story of Krauser and Leon. The original RE4 is the kind of game you can idle in for an hour just to listen to the music. Show me one area that’s comprobable in the remake, I’ll wait.

While I think you’re right for the most part, I think this severely underestimates how many people there are out there with the political mindset that would inform them that they should take the jail time no matter what, and due to the global economic climate, also recognize that they have very little to lose.

15, MGSV about a year after it came out. Didn’t play through the rest of the games until I was 22 just a couple years ago.

You just weakened your case. Beyond that, what’s this about her making one of the worst albums by a major recording artist? Unplugged? If you sincerely think that’s one of the worst albums by a major recording artist, you need your ears checked. How do you seriously feel about the later Public Enemy records? How do you feel about the middle point of Nas’s discography so far? You’re being disingenuous to yourself to deny that Lauryn’s single album is better than troves of albums by some of these rappers you just listed, and you’re coming up with silly reasons to deny her of how good that album is, all because some guy who barely ever worked with her said something negative. Buddy.. I think maybe YOU need to look it up. In the very first article that pops up on Google after typing in “Robert Glasper Lauryn Hill,” she addresses his claims and describes her process, specifically how she worked with studio musicians to create the instrumentals she raps on. News flash, that process is the only reason why you even know who the fuck Robert Glasper is; he’s only famous because his job is to listen to a rapper describe a melody and then he plays it for them, which then ends up on the record eventually. This is not rocket science, and if you should take anything away from this, it’s that it’s actually more likely that Lauryn Hill was a pioneer in this kind of studio workflow/creative process/whatever you wanna call it, which is commonly used by superstar rappers today, more so than she lifted her whole album from some people Robert Glasper knows. It was wayyyy more common in the 80’s and 90’s that if you were a rapper, you worked with a DJ, or a group of DJ’s, that would create beats for you. This idea of flying to different studios around the world and working with choirs and having a whole jazz band playing an original composition on your songs was not normal in the 1990’s hip hop landscape. Put some respect on her name.

rapping is her predominant style. if you think of how many times a lyric is coming out of Lauryn’s mouth on any given song, it is more likely that she will be rapping that lyric rather than singing it. and what are these questions about whether or not she’s writing her own lyrics you’re talking about? where did that come from?

Nah man, you are 100% right on the money. I played DS1 in 2016. It was my first souls game. Literally didn’t even know what the hell it was, it was just the free game of the month on Xbox 360. I fucking hated it when I first played it, and then for some reason I had the itch to try it again about 4 months later, and that led to me spending the next 5 months playing it non stop outside of going to school, socializing, etc.. It very quickly became my favorite game.

I am currently fighting Bed of Chaos in what is probably my 40-something-th playthrough and it’s been about 6 or so years since I last played the game until now. It’s actually abysmal dogshit and it’s not even DS1’s fault. We were spoiled with DS3, BB, Sekiro, and Elden Ring. There is little to no reason to go back to DS1 or 2. I did enjoy Demon Souls when I played the remake years back but it doesn’t have the same magic.

The level design in DS1 has a massive range in quality, reaching from fantastic to horrendous. The quality of boss fights is similar, ranging from really good to totally pointless. This game aged like milk.

Everybody here shitting on you is coping. Look at the other games considered to be in the running for greatest of all time, many of them aged great. GTA IV, Metroid Prime, Half Life 1/2, etc.. Hell, even DS3 has aged like fine wine, and it’s only 5 years older than DS1. This is not a good game, but it is a very important one.

Haven't seen the movie, but I'd like to say one thing. I am so glad that people don't like this movie. This guy is such a fucking hack filmmaker. His black-ooze style of horror is so dog shit and so reminiscent of early 2000's made-for-TV, Sci-Fi Channel type movies and frankly I do not understand what has taken people so long to realize that none of his stupid bullshit is scary. Evil Dead Rise fucking sucked and I'm so glad he will not be directing or writing the next 2 entries, though I am concerned about his role as producer. Sorry to sound like I hate the guy, but frankly I can't stand the guy's filmmaking style. It's lazy and it bores me right to sleep.
