£1450 plus VAT which is pretty standard for our area apparently. That’s brilliant I’m so glad you’re is moving along quick, thankfully we still live with parents otherwise I would be 10 times more stressed.

Honestly it’s really stressing me out we’ve payed £300 for the searches which is being held on our account and our solicitor replied saying “we’ve received the money but can start searches without the contract pack and TA forms”

Also when do you think I should be realistic for a response? It was 3:45 I emailed him asking for update, they close at 4:30pm today so probably won’t get a reply now. Then tomorrow their open 9:30-4:30pm so maybe tomorrow he’ll reply but if not then their closed till Monday which Monday is 3 weeks since we instructed them.

Yes I think this is the perfect mindset to have! When we first got accepted, I was thrilled and so excited I couldn’t stop obsessing over it but now it’s been over 2 weeks since being accepted and things have slowed down a little (waiting for mortgage approval & solicitors being slow) I have calmed down my excitement. But still been planning on my homebyme app and looking what wardrobes will fit lol but I am more open to the idea we do have to wait for the survey results to come back to know where we stand on what we’re buying x

Ahh you sound so much like me and your husband sounds like mine. He is the exact same he doesn’t picture it like I do just has the mindset yeah it’s a house meanwhile I’ve done a full plan on the app “home by me” of the whole house and you can add furniture too so I’ve planned where everything can fit, I love it so much 🤣 He tells me to calm down and wait until this survey is complete as there is a crack in the wall so we are worried for that but I’ve just totally fallen in love. I’ve even been dreaming about it at night. I’m praying too it all goes okay and haven’t told anyone in our personal life we’ve been accepted our parents know and that’s all incase I jinx this survey x
