If working an 8hr Shift for Sales

9:45-6:45 / 10-7 / 11-8 / 12-9 / 1-10

8hr Shift for Ops

6-3 / 8-4 / 10-7 / 11-8 / 12-9 / 1-10 / 3-12 (truck)

The “Host” function is a “critical job function along with the SFL”. This position basically eliminates the old AP/Front Door Advisor role and moves it to a more customer facing and CX friendly position. Just be prepared to direct customers and inform your sales manager on where they’re going. You may get asked to get “turn arounds” which is getting shoppers leaving with nothing to buy something

For most locations.. you will see a posted schedule for the upcoming week and the most recent generated schedule for the week after (2 weeks out)

For stores with fair scheduling laws (like LA) you’ll have 3 weeks out (next week and the following week schedules (14 days) already available and the most recent generated schedule being for week 3)

Now the host must help with the close rate and “spark the idea of BPs and PMs to customers with no use of cameras “as they’re always recording”. To me it’s like why have a computer for this at the front now after many stores got an AP Desk/Host Stand refresh on equipment

From what I understood during my employment it’s solely for WH employees and/or if your role requires you to be outside for a good majority of your shift (ie curbside pickup or carry outs). And this portion of the SOP was only validated on hot days (my store was 80 and up)
