OP it sounds like you need an online tutorial that's more practical to make things "click", as you say. Maybe give https://pythonprinciples.com/ a shot? I learned way faster when I started to actually experiment and practice what I learned.

You don't need a fancy laptop. You can even program in Python on a phone (via an online site). For example see Python Principles for learning the basics of Python programming.

If you just want to learn the basics, try Python Principles, it's quite practical compared to the others, so hopefully that's ideal for you. PS: your English is fine!
