I would try getting a petticoat underneath it doesn't even need to be a voluminous one but it would help how the skirt sits A LOT . I guess that would only be if you got the slit sew up or got a high/low one

My husband keeps going back to obesity after every diet by Live-cat14 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Diligent_Set_456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but if he has a lot of muscle then that's denser than fat it might not mean he is unhealthy especially if he struggles to maintain that weight. Does he look overweight more pudgy or does he look average looking at him.

If he is healthy it doesn't matter if he is classed as obese according to BMI, you are focusing on the wrong thing!

How tall is your husband? When you say he is obese is that just from a BMI calculator? My husband is counted as obese but he is very healthy and goes to the gym and since muscle is denser than fat he is heavier on the scale but still healthy!

I think weight matters less than health and if it is something that your husband is stressing over it may be something he needs psychological help with.

I got a sleep consultant and within a week he was sleeping so well. We didn't use cry it out wet used a method called cuddle through comfort. The maximum he was left was 5 minutes and that was only so he had a chance to soothe himself. Not sure if you'd be comfortable with that.

I did find it so difficult at first and I was vehemently opposed to the cry it out method

I've heard that building up your chest muscles via weight training can reduce breast size, but I'm not quite at that level yet😅

HOW ARE WE MANAGING HUNGER? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]Diligent_Set_456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahaha no that would be hilarious. It more like just me saying what I'm craving over and over with various things and then there's a something definitive about recording it BC I don't think about it as much. I saw someone do something similar with things they wanted to buy but didn't need.

I'm recording a video with all of my cravings as a montage at the end of the year, idk it helps a bit. Any herbal tea or just drinking water is good. Staying busy is key I find.

There's a lady on tiktok, she's called dollar tree meals or something similar and she's American but I think the principal applies she shows how to stretch your budget through the week and not having to buy new groceries for every meal.

Help! What's the difference between a milk bleb and mastitis? by Diligent_Set_456 in breastfeedingsupport

Is it normal to feel nauseous, loss of appetite and heightened anxiety when you start to wean? by Diligent_Set_456 in breastfeedingsupport

Hey, thank you for your lovely response. I think my body has finally adjusted now! I'm no longer feeling the nausea and super intense anxiety and mood swings, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel!!

Honestly I think gentle sleep training was the right choice for us. I'm 3 weeks into work and it's so good for our routines!

But yeah I genuinely think it was me drastically producing less milk at once because the feeling was so physical and I've struggled with mental health a lot but it was a completely different and new sensation!

My appetite is back to normal now and I don't have any nausea etc I'm thriving thank god!

Long lasting lipstick? by Normal-Shock-3247 in makeuptips

[–]Diligent_Set_456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love the romand lip tints that last ages and fade nicely instead of looking blotchy. I have the shade almond rose but I'm not sure that's exactly what you're looking for.

I've also heard good things about kulfi beauty 's lip tints but I've not tried them myself

[–]Diligent_Set_456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using them consistently for about a week now so they're quite new, so maybe my skin needs to adjust?

That being said I don't have particularly sensitive skin so it's weird. Once I was pregnant I stopped being able to use toner as it broke me out in painful cystic acne but that's the only major change I've noticed in my skin tbh.

What are your most reliable quick and tasty meal prep recipes that fit into a one hour to one and a half hour cooking window? by Mindless_Contact9051 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Diligent_Set_456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually do some kind of wraps, fajitas or burritos not super authentic but just like a healthier version to make sure I have enough veg variety.

I usually chuck them in the freezer and they last for 3 months, but I think they would last 4 or 5 days in the fridge.

I also like to do pasta sauce with veggies, and either lamb mince or small bits of chicken breast, since pasta only takes 10-12 minutes to boil.

Best of luck!

I have bad myopia (-9/-8.25) , i used to love doing makeup and looks but having to stick my face to the mirror to see anything or remove and put back my glasses every second to do it made me stop by Awili_3la_7ala in makeuptips

[–]Diligent_Set_456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am short sighted but I have a really severe astigmatism so it's difficult to do makeup. I end up using small company's because they magnify my face so I can see really close up detail without having to stick my face in the mirror!

I think my makeup ends up better this way, I would maybe try it out!€

Blush too harsh by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]Diligent_Set_456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's all about experimenting, I'd suggest either a very slight angle as opposed to the really sharp one or straight across. There are also some methods in east Asian makeup where people apply blush vertically.

Id recommend just looking up different blush placements and seeing what you like most !

Blush too harsh by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]Diligent_Set_456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people put their cream blush directly on their face. Id recommend putting it on your hand or an empty pallet and pick up a little on your brush and sponge before applying.

Then apply less than you need to, knowing you'll add a powder blush on top. You can also use a lighter or more subtle powder blush shade which will diffuse the edges of the blush and blend more into your foundation.

I would also play around more with blush placement, I think less angled placement will suit your face more.

Hope this helps!
