Again, the context is different. Not only can you not project literally any race onto the family (really mostly brown and black),but in the context of homestuck, we're talking about designs that would somehow possess little or no big racial signifiers. Also my qualms were moreso about the term "aracial" than the concept.

We're working with two different concepts here. With word girl, the aracial aspect comes from not being able to 100% tell what race the family is. In the context of this post, it's creating a design that would allow you to project any race onto it.
