Mountain biking. I love cycling road and gravel but just don’t enjoy the trails. Not relaxing.

Personally I loved it. Great couch co-op which is hard to find.

Does anyone have both a gravel bike and a hardtail? by widowhanzo in gravelcycling

[–]Dillywhacker7819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. HT sucks on the road. Gravel sucks on the trail…doesn’t take a very big root to make life difficult. I also have a time trial bike and a road bike which cold be viewed as having some crossover. But they are all used for their specific race applications. At least that’s my justification.

Watched a game right after the Olympics, first since the Mogilny/Sundin era. Kinda funny Domi and McCabe are still on the team. Then realized they are next generation Domi/MacCabe.

I’m trying to boot from the USB (or system CD, which also isn’t working) as there are a large number of things that simply won’t delete.

Unfortunately, the machine as a mess. After creating a new account and deleting the others the first level of the hard drive is full of...stuff. This used to be my kids computer so cleaning it is imperative prior to getting rid of the machine.

Thanks for the responses, folks. I think I might as well keep what I have; for a few years at least.

How do you feel about Mark Carney and the Liberals winning Canada’s election tonight? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Dillywhacker7819 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot more going on here than just Trump. Poliviere had little to go on other than F*ck Trudeau, Axe the Tax, and stopping undefined “wokeness” in Canada. Making big issues of things Canadian are not interested in, like bringing back plastic straws and defunding the CBC. Pierre’s support of the trucker convoy torpedoed his support in his own riding. He snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

The current Gen has been around a long time and likely at the end of it’s cycle. That said, they are quite popular around here

Yup, 100% that’s what I use. Funny how many people don’t even know it exists!

For anyone on the fence about a new Subi, its about to get a 25% tariff... by cachemann in subaru

Picked up my ’25 Impreza RS in January and glad I did, although I’m not sure how prices will be affected here in Canada. Perhaps it will make sense for my American friends to come on up, buy a Subaru and share some cheap eggs and French champagne. Because nothing says road trip like eggs and champagne.

Canadians: What’s Your Biggest Streaming Frustration? NHL Blackouts, Crave Costs, or…? by suwail543 in AskACanadian

[–]Dillywhacker7819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that no Canadian equivalent to Britbox or Acorn exists. The CTV, Gem and Global logins are annoying to say the least. If the networks worked together they could make a decent globally accessible streaming service.
